This song is about destroying something that is perfectly okay. Burning it down, turning it upside-down. Seeing what happens. And telling yourself to not regret it.

Who are you? (I'm an angel.)
(And what are you?) I'm ungrateful.
(You tried to learn.) But i stumbled.
(You crashed and burned.) And yeah, I fumbled.

Well who are we to not speak honestly?
We got too little time to not go nuts.
So, burn the house. And as it blows down,
don't regret the thing you done.
I'll hunt like a wolf, and smear blood on the walls.
I'll be like a tree: strong and tall.
'Cause I grew up quick and never found my niche.
So I wrote it down, and I sing it loud
that
